Meatballs in a pressure cooker
Description
The recipe won't take much time. The simple pressure cooker meatball recipe allows several cooking methods. First, you can slightly sear the meatballs on both sides using the device's sauté function, then add a little water or broth to the pot, close the lid, and simmer until done—about 10 minutes. Alternatively, you can skip searing and cook them directly in liquid, which is even healthier. The second option is steaming. This is possible if your pressure cooker comes with a special steaming rack. Place the rack inside, arrange the formed meatballs on it, add a little water to the pot, and close the lid. Steam the meatballs for about 15 minutes. Whichever method you choose, it will be faster than using a regular gas stove, and while the pressure cooker does its job, you'll have enough time to prepare a simple side dish. Serve hot.
