Cutlets in the microwave
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Both adults and children love these patties. Plus, you won't need to wash a frying pan or clean the stove from grease splatters when cooking them. All the flavor is preserved—and even more pronounced—since the patties aren't fried in oil. You can use any ground meat, along with your favorite spices and herbs. Serve them as regular meat patties with your favorite side dish or a fresh vegetable salad. Serve hot.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making microwave meatballs. Peel and rinse the onion. Wash the egg in hot water and dry it.
- 2
Step 2

Place the ground meat (I used pork and beef in equal parts) into a bowl and add the egg.
- 3
Step 3

Pour the milk into the minced meat.
- 4
Step 4

Chop the onion in any convenient way; I grated it on a coarse grater. Add the onion to the bowl with the minced meat.
- 5
Step 5

Season everything with salt and pepper. If desired, add your favorite spices and minced garlic.
- 6
Step 6

Mix everything well and beat the meat mixture until dense. To do this, gather the mixture in your hand, lift it above the bowl, and drop it back in. Repeat this 10–15 times, until you achieve the desired consistency.
- 7
Step 7

Pour water into a microwave-safe dish. Divide the minced meat into equal portions and, with wet hands, shape into patties. Place the patties into the dish.
- 8
Step 8

Place the pan with the meatballs in the microwave and cook at 1000 W for 5 minutes. If clear juice comes out of the meatballs, they are done. If necessary, continue cooking in 30-second increments until fully cooked.
- 9
Step 9

The meatballs in the microwave are ready. Turn the meatballs over, place them on plates, and serve immediately with your favorite side dish.
