Beef cutlets baked in the oven
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Many people bake beef patties in the oven, but this recipe truly stands out from the rest. Adding vegetables to the meat mixture makes the patties juicier without masking the meat flavor. These patties are perfect not only for adults but also for children. Serve hot.

Step 1

1. The classic recipe for beef meatballs baked in the oven is familiar to many, but for variety, I suggest preparing this version. First, you need to prepare the minced meat. Grind the beef through a meat grinder. Peel the onion, cut into small pieces, and also grind through a meat grinder. Finely chop the cabbage. Grate the carrot on a fine grater.

Step 2

2. Add vegetables to the meat mixture and mix well. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Add garlic and other spices if desired. If the mixture turns out slightly runny, add semolina or flour. Add gradually, stirring constantly.

Step 3

3. Moisten your hands slightly (so the meat mixture doesn't stick to your hands) and shape the patties. Lightly grease the baking tray with vegetable oil and line it with parchment paper. Place the formed patties onto the tray and bake in a preheated oven for 30-40 minutes, depending on their size.

Step 4

4. To ensure the beef patties cook well in the oven at home and don't burn, cover the baking sheet with foil for the first 20–25 minutes. Then remove the foil and sear the patties until they develop a golden crust.

Step 5

5. The ready-made patties can be served hot with your favorite side dish or fresh vegetables. However, they remain juicy and delicious even when cooled down.
