Instructions

Step 1

1. If you cook meatballs in sauce in the oven just once according to this recipe, you'll want to make them constantly (even for holiday feasts). You can use any kind of ground meat for the meatballs.
- 2
Step 2

2. Mix the ground meat, egg, 100 ml of milk, garlic, onion, and bread until smooth. Shape into patties and place them side by side in a baking dish. Use a dish with high sides, as we will be pouring sauce over the patties.

Step 3

3. Meanwhile, prepare the sauce. If you don't want it to be too fatty, use medium-fat milk. Bring the milk to a boil in a frying pan, add a little flour, and cook over low heat, stirring constantly. The consistency should be slightly thinner than that of pancake batter.

Step 4

4. Add finely chopped dill, spices, and cook for another minute or so.
- 5
Step 5

5. Now make holes in the cutlets so that the sauce and cheese can get inside. Pour the prepared sauce over everything.
- 6
Step 6

6. At the very end, sprinkle with cheese, evenly distributing it over the entire surface.
- 7
Step 7

7. The cheese can be blended together with the sauce in a blender to create a smooth mixture, or you can simply sprinkle it separately over the cutlets (on top of the sauce).
- 8
Step 8

8. Place the pan in the oven and bake for about 30-35 minutes at a temperature of 180-190 degrees.
- 9
Step 9

9. Serve the cutlets with sauce either hot or cold. For a side dish, cook any porridge, prepare mashed potatoes, or simply serve the cutlets with vegetables.
