Seaman-style cutlets
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. I use disposable foil molds for the cutlets, which is convenient. The size of the molds may vary, so choose according to your preference. With the given amount of ingredients, you can make 3 to 6 cutlets. Good luck! The finished dish can be served at the table.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the necessary ingredients and baking molds.
- 2
Step 2

Grease each mold with vegetable oil. Mix the minced meat with salt and ground pepper. Distribute the mixture into the molds. Generously coat with mayonnaise or sour cream.
- 3
Step 3

I had a large onion, one was enough. Slice the onion thinly into half-rings, distribute over the molds, salt, and pepper.
- 4
Step 4

Slice the potatoes thinly into half-circles. Spread them out. Season with salt.
- 5
Step 5

Next, place the tomato slices.
- 6
Step 6

Now dilute the mayonnaise with water (I often use chicken broth to thin the mayonnaise). Generously drizzle over all portions. Use as much mayonnaise and water as you prefer—I don't use too much since the meat filling is already quite rich. Sprinkle with grated cheese. Preheat the oven to 220 degrees.

Step 7

Bake the captain-style cutlets for 40 minutes. Enjoy!
