Fish meatball patties
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. I'm offering this simple recipe for fish patties specifically for those who love fish but don't particularly enjoy picking out large and small bones. Here we have an excellent solution to this problem: simply take your favorite fish and mince it into a fine paste—delicious fish flavor with no bones. Personally, I equally enjoy both meat and fish patties, so I alternate them in my menu. Moreover, fish patties are rich in various beneficial nutrients, making them perfect for children. Of course, freshly caught fish is best, but frozen fish works perfectly fine as well. Prepare all the necessary ingredients, and I'll show you how to make delicious fish patties. The finished dish is ready to be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

First, pass the fish fillet through a meat grinder. If you have a whole fish, as in my case, first carefully remove the fillet, and then mince it.

Step 2

Now cut off the crust from the bread and soak it in milk for 10-15 minutes. Squeeze out the excess milk and transfer the bread to the fish flesh. Add mashed butter, two egg yolks, grated onion, and chopped dill. Season with salt and pepper, then mix everything thoroughly until smooth.

Step 3

In a separate bowl, beat the egg white thoroughly with a pinch of salt until thick foam forms.

Step 4

Now gently fold the egg white into the fish mince.

Step 5

Form small patties and coat them in breadcrumbs. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet and fry the patties over medium heat until golden brown on both sides. Then reduce the heat, cover the skillet with a lid, and cook for a few more minutes. That's it, the patties are ready. Enjoy your meal!
