1. Mash the canned saury (any kind, but not in tomato sauce) with a fork.

2. Then grate the onion on a fine grater.

3. Do the same with the potatoes.

4. In a bowl, mix the fish, onion, and potato. Add the eggs, semolina, and flour, then pour in the juice from the canned mackerel. Season with salt and pepper. You can also add fish seasoning or any other spices to taste. Mix all the ingredients thoroughly until a uniform mixture is obtained.

5. Heat vegetable oil in a skillet, then use a ladle or large spoon to form patties with the filling. Fry the cutlets on both sides. When the cutlets are ready, pour a little boiling water (about half a cup) into the skillet, cover with a lid, and simmer for about 1 minute. This is done to make the cutlets tender.
