
Beef meatballs in the oven

Prepare all the ingredients.

Cut the crusts off the bread, crumble the crumb by hand, and soak it in milk. I additionally mash the bread with a fork.

If you already have ready-made minced meat, transfer it to a bowl. If you are using fresh beef, mince it using a meat grinder. To prevent the patties from turning out dry, I additionally add a small piece of minced pork fat. If you don't have pork fat, you can add 1-2 tablespoons of mayonnaise for juiciness.

Grate the onion on a coarse grater, add squeezed white bread, salt to taste, and any favorite spices. You can use just ground black pepper.

Mix thoroughly until the meat mixture becomes uniform. You can add about 50 ml more of ice-cold water; it will also help make the patties as juicy as possible.

Grease the baking dish with oil. Then, with hands moistened with water, shape the patties and place them at some distance from each other. Bake in the oven at 180 degrees for about 40 minutes.
