Cutlet in dough
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. You can make a vegetable filling or meat filling, whichever you prefer. This time I used a vegetable filling based on potatoes with the addition of other vegetables. For the patties, I use ready-made store-bought puff pastry. You can wrap the patty completely, like a pie, or cover it with strips. Serve the finished dish at the table.
Instructions

Step 1
Peel the onion and garlic, and finely chop them. Peel 1 centimeter of ginger root and grate it. Heat a frying pan with vegetable oil, add the onion, and sauté for 5 minutes. Add the garlic and ginger, followed by the carrot, diced into cubes.

Step 2
Peel the potatoes and cut them into small pieces, then boil in salted water. Add the vegetable mixture and cook until done.

Step 3
Place the boiled vegetables in a bowl and mash until smooth, then add spices and salt. Put breadcrumbs on a plate, shape the vegetable mixture into patties, and coat them in the breadcrumbs.

Step 4
Roll out the puff pastry thinly and cut into strips. Wrap each patty with a strip of pastry and place on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Insert peas along the edges for decoration.

Step 5
Bake the patties in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for 12-15 minutes, until a golden crust forms.
