
Kosule
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. Kosule is quite simple. You can use canned beans instead of cooking them yourself, which will significantly reduce preparation time. Instead of chicken fillet, you can use turkey, veal, or pork. Serve aromatic, healthy, hearty, and very tasty kosule as a main course for lunch or dinner. It doesn't require a side dish. The finished dish is ready to be served.

Prepare the ingredients for making kosule.

Rinse the beans and soak them in cold water for 8–10 hours, or preferably overnight. Then place them in a saucepan and cover with fresh water.

Boil the beans until done, then drain the water.

Peel the onion, wash and chop it. Place in a frying pan.

Peel, wash, and slice the carrots. Add them to the pan with the onion. Pour in sunflower oil and simmer the vegetables for 7–8 minutes, stirring occasionally.

Then wash the chicken fillet, slice it, and add to the carrots and onions.

Season with salt and pepper and sauté the vegetables with the fillet for 5-6 minutes.

Add tomato paste.

And a little water.

Place the boiled beans.

Mix all the couscous ingredients and simmer for another 5-6 minutes.

Then place the kosule into a heatproof dish, you can use small pots, and put it in the oven. Simmer the dish at 150 degrees for 20 minutes, then turn off the oven.
