Instructions

Step 1

Prepare the ingredients according to the list. You might need a little more flour or exactly as much—judge by the dough. I'll explain during the process what the dough should be like.

Step 2

First, you need to prepare the flower heads for frying. To do this, pour water into a deep bowl, dip the flowers into it a couple of times to remove dust and insects. Drain them in a colander or sieve to let all the water completely drain off.
- 3
Step 3

Now prepare the dough. To do this, separate the yolk from the white. Beat the white with a mixer in a separate bowl until stiff peaks form. Combine the yolk with milk, sugar, salt, and flour.
- 4
Step 4

Add the beaten egg white to the batter. Mix the batter with a whisk. The consistency should be like that of pancakes: moderately thick, pourable batter.
- 5
Step 5

Take a branch and dip it completely into the batter so that all the flowers are coated with the dough.
- 6
Step 6

And place the flower head into the hot oil and fry. Use scissors to cut off the tough branches. Flip to the other side and fry until golden brown.
- 7
Step 7

Place on paper towels and blot off excess fat.

Step 8

The dandelions are ready!
