Description

Goes wonderfully with tea and coffee. Colourful pastries with a juicy filling and crumbly shortcrust base will win everyone over! Serve them with lemonade, tea, coffee, or warm milk. Remember it’s best to fill the pastry baskets shortly before serving. Serve cooled or lightly warm.

    Prepare the ingredients listed. You can use fuzzy-skinned peaches or nectarines.

    Pour vegetable oil into a deep container, crack in a chicken egg, and add salt and sugar. Mix thoroughly.

    Add the wheat flour and knead into a stiff, pliable shortcrust pastry dough. Chill in the refrigerator for 15 minutes.

    Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Divide the chilled dough into equal portions and distribute it among the cupcake moulds. You can place it either inside the moulds or on the outside—both methods work well. Place the prepared portions in the oven for 10–15 minutes.

    Once they brown, remove them and let cool, then take off the molds.

    Combine sour cream of any fat content with sugar. If you wish, add thickener for sour cream if you prefer a creamier filling. Spoon the cream into the tartlet shells. Rinse the peaches and remove the fuzzy peel. Slice the fruit flesh, removing the pits. Arrange the slices in the tartlet shells.
