
Cream-filled baskets
Description
This dessert instantly brings a festive atmosphere into the home. And yet, it's incredibly easy to prepare. You can fill the pastry shells with any cream: sour cream, butter, or meringue. You can also place a bit of thick jam or fresh berries at the bottom of the shells. There's plenty of room for creativity with this recipe. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Cut the cold butter into small cubes.

Place the butter in a bowl, add flour and powdered sugar. Rub everything together until it resembles crumbs.

Add the egg and mix. The dough should be quite thick. You can add a little flour if needed during the process.

Roll the dough into a ball, wrap it in plastic wrap, and place it in the freezer for 20–25 minutes.

Meanwhile, you can prepare the toppings for the baskets: wash the fruits, grate the chocolate, chop the apricots.

Peel the pear and kiwi and cut into small slices or pieces.

Take the dough out of the freezer and distribute it into molds, forming not too thin bottom and sides. Place in an oven preheated to 180°C and bake until golden brown.

For the cream, beat the sour cream with powdered sugar. Use thick sour cream.

Using a pastry bag, fill the cooled tartlets with cream.
