Baskets made of pancakes
Description
Colorful baskets can be served both at a festive table and at a buffet. To make the baskets smaller, bake small pancakes, and vice versa. The main thing is not to fill them with a liquid filling, otherwise they will become soggy and lose their shape. They can be served with tea or coffee.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. For the filling, boil the chicken eggs in advance, let them cool, and peel them, without using those intended for the pancake batter.
- 2
Step 2

Whisk the milk with the chicken eggs and salt in a deep container.
- 3
Step 3

Add the wheat flour and whisk once more. Pour in the vegetable oil and stir. Let the dough rest for 20 minutes so that the gluten activates.
- 4
Step 4

Preheat a frying pan on the stove over medium heat. Grease it with vegetable oil the first time and pour in a portion of batter. Cook the pancake for 1 minute on each side. Prepare the remaining pancakes in the same way.
- 5
Step 5

While the pancakes are frying, grate the boiled eggs into a deep bowl using a fine grater. Rinse and chop the green onions, add salt, and add mayonnaise of any fat content. Mix all the ingredients together to make a filling for the baskets.
- 6
Step 6

Place a glass or cup on a baking tray and cover it with a pancake. Preheat the oven to 150–160 degrees and dry the pancake baskets in it for about 10–15 minutes. Then remove them and let them cool.
- 7
Step 7

After cooling, they will hold their shape perfectly.
- 8
Step 8

Fill them with the prepared salad or another filling and serve.
