Spread the dough in a butter‑greased pan, shaping high edges with your hands. Brush the bottom and sides with 2 tablespoons of egg white (still unwhipped), then spoon the cottage cheese filling on top.

Spread the sliced apples over the cottage cheese. Place the dish in a preheated 180-degree oven for 30 minutes.
