Grilled King Prawns
Description
A delicious appetizer for any gathering. Preparing shrimp is a simple process that doesn’t take much time! 1. Make the marinade. To do this, squeeze the juice from a lemon and an orange, then mix it in a large bowl with olive oil, white wine, mustard, and basil. Finely chop the garlic or press it through a garlic press and add it to the marinade. 2. Next, add the shrimp to the same bowl and mix well so they are all coated with the marinade. Now place them in a cool place for at least 1 hour to marinate. Of course, it’s best to use the freshest shrimp, but frozen ones will work too (they need to be thawed in the refrigerator first). 3. When the shrimp are well marinated, thread them onto wooden skewers or kebab skewers. 4. On a well-heated grill, cook the shrimp for 3–5 minutes on each side. The dish is done when the shrimp turn reddish and there are no transparent areas in the meat. Such a simple but very tasty dish is perfect both for a get-together with friends and for a festive evening, since grilled king prawns pair well with both beer and white wine. Can be served warm or chilled.
