
Milk cake according to GOST
Description
Delicious baked treat for the whole family. These tasty and aromatic layers remind many of their childhood, as they were commonly sold in school cafeterias. Serve cooled or slightly warm.

Crack the egg into a small bowl, beat until smooth, and pour half into another small container. One portion will go into the dough, and the other will be used to brush the layers.

Beat soft butter with sugar until smooth. Add milk, half an egg, vegetable oil, salt, and vanilla sugar. Beat well again—mix thoroughly.

Add the flour mixed with baking powder. Knead the dough. It should be smooth and not stick to your hands.

Lightly flour the work surface and roll out the dough into a sheet about 6-7 mm thick. You can press a pattern on top. Cut out rounds 8-9 cm in diameter.

Line a baking sheet with parchment paper and place the cakes on it, leaving space between them.

Brush with the remaining egg and bake in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 10-12 minutes.
