Cut the eggplant in half. Then cut into wide slices, making 2 cuts in each without cutting all the way through.

Cut the zucchini in the same way.

Steam the vegetables for about 10 minutes, until the eggplants are tender.

Finely chop the green onions, and press the garlic through a garlic press. For the sauce, mix rice vinegar, soy sauce, sesame oil, and red ground pepper. Add the toasted sesame seeds, green onions, and garlic.
