Smoked chicken in an air fryer
Description
1. Wash the chicken thoroughly under running water, then dry it with a paper towel. 2. Mix salt with pepper (preferably a pepper blend) and liquid smoke. Use a brush to coat the chicken evenly on all sides, making sure it's fully covered with the seasoning. You can enhance the classic smoked chicken recipe for an air fryer by adding pressed garlic or your favorite spices. 3. Place the chicken in the refrigerator for at least 1 hour. 4. Then carefully transfer it to the air fryer on the middle rack. If desired, wrap the more delicate parts (wings, legs) in foil. 5. Brush with a brush moistened with vegetable oil and roast for 40–60 minutes. Cooking time depends on the chicken's size. To reduce cooking time, you can cut the bird in half or into portion-sized pieces beforehand. 6. Once the smoked chicken is ready, serve it with a side dish, sauce, or vegetables according to your taste.
