Parcels with chicken and mushrooms

Description

Delicious baked treats for the whole family. Sauté the mushroom filling—consisting of onion, garlic, chicken fillet, and mushrooms—in oil over medium heat. We use ready-made dough, so you just need to roll it out on a floured surface. Then cut the dough into squares, place a couple of spoonfuls of filling onto each, and wrap them up. Bake in a preheated oven for 20–25 minutes. Serve the chicken and mushroom parcels hot, right away, though they are just as tasty when cooled. Enjoy warm or chilled. Perfect with tea.

    Cut the fillet into small cubes, and do the same with the mushrooms. Finely chop the onion, separating the green and white parts. Mince the garlic.

    Sauté the white part of the onion in olive oil until golden brown.

    Then add the garlic and green part of the onion and fry for another minute.

    Place the chicken fillet and fry for another 5 minutes.

    Then add the mushrooms and simmer until the liquid has completely evaporated.

    Then pour in the cream and bring to a boil. Add a little dried thyme, salt and pepper to taste. Cook for a short while until thickened, then cool.

    Roll out the dough and cut it into squares. Place the filling in the center of each square.

    Moisten the edges of the squares with water and fold them into envelopes as shown in the photo. Brush them with beaten egg and place in a preheated oven at 200 degrees for about 20-25 minutes.
