Lavash envelopes with cheese and herbs
Description
The recipe won’t take much time. To make lavash envelopes with cheese and herbs, I recommend using soft, fresh lavash; otherwise the envelopes may break. For the herbs, you can use whatever you like—the principle here is: the more, the better. I always add dill, green onion, parsley, and cilantro. By the way, this also applies to the cheese: you can combine several varieties, and you can even add processed cheese. The appetizer is ready. Serve immediately.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Divide the lavash into 4 parts. Finely chop the greens.
- 2
Step 2

Grate the cheese on a coarse grater.
- 3
Step 3

Take one lavash flatbread, optionally spread it with butter or mayonnaise, and add a tablespoon of grated cheese. Leave the edges free.
- 4
Step 4

Add a tablespoon of herbs.
- 5
Step 5

Wrap the envelopes as tightly as possible so they don’t come open.
- 6
Step 6

Fry in olive oil until golden brown on all sides.
- 7
Step 7

Ready-made lavash envelopes with cheese and herbs are especially good when served hot, but they are also very tasty once cooled.
