Puff pastry envelopes without yeast
Description
The pastry is simple and quick to prepare. This is a great recipe. It's not only delicious but also convenient. These little packets can be taken on the go, used as a snack for a picnic, served at a holiday table, or enjoyed at an everyday dinner. They can also be very convenient for children. Such pastries are easy to pack in a school bag for a snack during break. Moms, take note of my recipe. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions

Step 1

Using this recipe, we can prepare these lovely golden treats. These little parcels taste similar to savory pastries and are meant to be served as a salty snack.
- 2
Step 2

To prepare turnovers from yeast-free puff pastry, you need the pastry itself. Thaw the pastry (each sheet separately). After thawing, roll out the pastry into a flat layer.
- 3
Step 3

Prepare the filling for puff pastry turnovers. I use boiled turkey and hard cheese for the filling. You can substitute the meat with fish and add herbs to the filling.
- 4
Step 4

Roll out the dough and cut it into squares. Place a filling of meat and cheese on each square.
- 5
Step 5

Pinch the edges of the square together. Place the prepared turnovers on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper. Brush the turnovers with beaten egg yolk. Sprinkle with sesame seeds or flaxseeds on top, if desired.

Step 6

Preheat the oven to 200 degrees. Bake the parcels in the oven for about 15 minutes.
