Canned Grapes
Description
A simple way to put food by for later. This recipe for canned grapes lets you use both white and red wine-grape varieties. What’s more, if you were unlucky and bought sour grapes, don’t force yourself to eat them—can them instead, adding a bit more sugar. And when preserving ripe sweet berries, it makes sense to use a little more vinegar. In short, any grapes will do for canning, except bruised or overripe ones! ;) Here’s how to can grapes. Good luck. The preserve is ready to store for winter.

Step 3

You can trim part of the berries from the “tail” end — then the skin definitely won’t burst and the flavor will be richer, but in principle this is optional.
