
Canned Tomatoes with Apples
Description
With this recipe, I suggest you prepare canned tomatoes with a wonderful aroma of tart apples. Such preserves will come in handy in winter. Jars can be stored for up to a year in a cool place.

Step 1

1. Place a sprig of dill and a sprig of parsley at the bottom of each jar (two 1 L jars). Fill the jars halfway with tomatoes.

2. Remove the cores from the apples and slice them into rings.

3. Place apple rings around the edges of the jars and on top of the tomatoes, and add more tomatoes on top.

4. Pour boiling water over the tomatoes in the jars and let stand for 20 minutes. Then pour the water into a saucepan, add salt, sugar, allspice, cinnamon, and pour in apple cider vinegar. Bring the brine to a boil.

5. Pour the brine back into the jars and seal. Turn the jars upside down and wrap them in blankets until completely cooled.
