Description

Winter preserving at home. Of course, as with anything else, there are a few tricks, but an experienced homemaker will find them quite manageable. For beginners, to learn how to preserve Napa cabbage, it’s enough to simply follow the steps! So, let’s get started

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Wash the bell peppers, remove the seeds, and cut into pieces.

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

We treat hot peppers the same way. Be careful — you need to handle them with extreme caution!

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

    Peel the garlic.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Blend the peppers and garlic. Add 1.5 cups of boiled water, salt, sugar, and vinegar to the paste. Mix thoroughly.

  5. 5

    Step 5

    Step 5

Remove the outer leaves from the napa cabbage and cut it lengthwise into 4 quarters. Generously pour the marinade over each quarter. Place in a container.

  6. 6

    Step 6

    Step 6

And place a small weight on top. Marinate the cabbage for 2–3 days at room temperature, then for another 2 weeks in a cool place.

  7. 7

    Step 7

    Step 7

After this, it is already ready to eat, but we want to preserve cabbage for winter, don't we? So what is left from the first tasting (and there will be a little left, I assure you!) we cut into small pieces, pack into sterilized jars, pour boiling vegetable oil over them, and seal. That's all! :)
