Candies
Description
Minimal ingredients, and you'll have delicious homemade candies on the table in just a few minutes. You can vary the candies with any filling, such as dried fruits, nuts, or gummy candy. Actually, the shape, filling, and decoration are all up to you. I'll just show you the basic candy base and one festive version for the New Year's table in the shape of the upcoming year's symbol—the Pig. These "Snowy Piglets" candies are so easy that even a child can make them, so feel free to involve the kids in this fun activity!

Break the dark chocolate into pieces.
- 3
Step 3

Melt in the microwave or using a double boiler.
- 4
Step 4

Add 2 tbsp of condensed milk.
- 5
Step 5

Mix. The mixture will begin to thicken.
- 6
Step 6

Shape the mixture into balls and roll them in coconut flakes. Repeat the same process with the white chocolate bar.
- 7
Step 7

As an option, to bring more joy to children or even some adults, you can serve these candies not as balls, but in the shape of the symbol of the year—the Boar or Pig. Instead of shaping the chocolate mixture into balls, form little figures resembling piglets, trying to depict small piglets.

Step 8

Eyes, ears, and snouts can be imitated using any available cake decorations. I used a food-safe marker, decorative sugar beads, and wafer flowers, from which I'll make the snouts and ears.

Step 9

These turned out to be such fairy-tale-like and slightly funny little boars. You can use any convenient, handy confectionery decorations for decorating. Use your imagination and involve the kids. It's a very exciting activity!

Snowy Piggy candies are ready. Made with love and by hand, they will delight any sweet tooth.
