Mango Candies
Description
The dish is prepared without unnecessary complications. These candies will be a hit with fans of jelly desserts and sweets. They turn out not overly sweet, with a delicate aroma and small pieces of citrus zest. If you want the candies to be completely uniform, strain the jelly mixture through a sieve. For a more delicate flavor, substitute lemon zest with lime zest. The ready dessert can now be served.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making mango candies.
- 2
Step 2

Pour the gelatin with cold boiled water and leave to swell for 30-40 minutes.
- 3
Step 3

Pour the cream into a saucepan, add sugar and lemon zest.
- 4
Step 4

Add the mango pulp to it, mix and blend everything with a blender until smooth. Place the saucepan over medium heat and bring to a boil, then cook, stirring, for one minute.
- 5
Step 5

Remove the pot from the heat, let it cool slightly, and add the swollen gelatin. Mix everything until smooth.
- 6
Step 6

Cool the mixture to warm and pour into the candy mold cavities.
- 7
Step 7

If you don't have a candy mold, line any baking pan with plastic wrap and pour the jelly mixture into it.
- 8
Step 8

Place the molds with the jelly mixture in the refrigerator for several hours, until the candies set. After that, remove the candies from the molds; if you made them as a single layer, peel off the film and cut into squares.
- 9
Step 9

Chop the chocolate and melt it over a double boiler. Pierce the candies from the bottom with toothpicks and dip them into the chocolate, leaving the top exposed. Insert the toothpicks into a suitable base and let them set until hardened.

Step 10

Or cover the candies with chocolate from a piping bag in the form of stripes.
