Apple candies
Description
What I love about this apple candy recipe is that you can even give these candies to the littlest kids! Much healthier than all those store-bought gummy candies, right? Plus, it's quite economical and doesn't require any special cooking skills. In short, there are absolutely no downsides to this simple apple candy recipe—so give it a try!

Step 1

1. Place the apples in a preheated oven at 180 degrees for 10–20 minutes. They should be soft inside, but do not need to be fully baked yet.

Step 2

2. Rub the apples into a puree, discarding any coarse parts such as seeds and cores. Mix with sugar and place over low heat until the mixture darkens and thickens.

Step 3

3. Meanwhile, chop the nuts and prepare ingredients for decorating the future candies—grate the chocolate, grind the sugar into powder, etc.

Step 4

4. When the apple mixture becomes thick and dark (but do not bring it to a jam-jelly consistency!), mix it with the nuts, shape into balls, roll in the coating, and leave to set in the refrigerator.
