Description

The recipe won't take much time. Making dried fruit candies is a great alternative to sweets for both children and adults, as well as for those watching their figure. If desired, you can add liqueur or cognac to the candies, and roll them not only in nuts but also in coconut flakes, for example. Serve chilled.

    1. First, prepare the dried fruits. Pour boiling water over the raisins and apricots and let them sit for 5–7 minutes to soften. If making dried fruit candies at home exclusively for adults, you can optionally soak the prunes in a small amount of brandy. Then drain the liquid, dry the fruits, and grind them together with 200 grams of nuts using a meat grinder. You can use any nuts according to your preference.

    5. Then you can shape the candies. If desired, excess crumbs can be shaken off afterward. This is a classic dried fruit candy recipe, but you can also add chocolate or dried berries to the filling if you like. Place the finished candies on a baking sheet, previously lined with parchment, and let them sit for some time.
