
Raspberry compote from frozen raspberries
Description
Serve the compote made from frozen raspberries strained, either warm or chilled. You can garnish a glass of this wonderful drink with a slice of lemon, mint leaves, or whole uncooked raspberries. During hot weather, this beverage is excellent served with ice. Raspberry is a wonderful berry, rich in vitamin C (and not only), possessing antiviral, anti-inflammatory, fever-reducing, and other beneficial properties. Serve chilled.

1. Rinse the frozen raspberries in water, but don't overdo it so that all the juice doesn't wash away. Let them thaw slightly (this is not necessary).

2. Bring water to a boil, then add the thawed raspberry berries. Bring to a boil over medium heat.

3. Now, add the sugar, stir until dissolved, then simmer for a few more minutes. Raspberry compote from frozen berries is ready!
