Cherry compote for winter
Description
Cherry compote for winter in a three-liter jar is my absolute favorite among all the winter compotes! Probably because its taste reminds me of the juice from cherry dumplings! :) I won't even mention how healthy it is. I make the compote sweet and rich, using delicious ripe cherries. I recommend following the ratio: 300 grams of sugar per three-liter jar. A friend suggested adding a sprig of lemon balm to the cherries, and indeed, it gives a very pleasant aroma and flavor! You can't ruin cherries with anything))). Good luck! I hope you'll enjoy this winter cherry compote recipe :)
