Compote from fresh currants
Description
The recipe won't take much time. I think currant compote made from fresh berries is not a drink that needs any introduction. I'll just comment on the method: some might find it too simple, but I'll tell you—this is exactly how proper compote from fresh currants should be made (though adding honey is optional). The berries are fresh, after all—why boil them for half an hour? Ten minutes is enough for the berries to release their flavor and beneficial properties into the compote. So under no circumstances should you overcook it ;) The drink is ready to serve.
