Fruit compote from dried fruits in a multicooker

Description

The drink is quick and easy to prepare. I've never liked dried fruit compote since school—it always turned out incredibly tasteless. So much so that I refused to drink or make it until recently, when I finally prepared a delicious compote myself. It all started when I bought a new multicooker, which came with a recipe book. I decided to cook every dish from that book. One recipe caught my eye.

Instructions

  1. 1

    Step 1

    Step 1

Prepare all the necessary ingredients. Boil water (to speed things up, I use boiling water from a kettle).

  2. 2

    Step 2

    Step 2

Pour 2 liters of boiling water into the multicooker bowl, add dried fruits, and set the "Simmering" mode for 40 minutes. I usually use a mix of dried fruits (apples, plums, pears), but you can also use them separately for a more pronounced flavor. The compote also turns out very tasty if you add a bit of raisins.

  3. 3

    Step 3

    Step 3

Add lemon acid (literally a couple of crystals) and sugar 10 minutes before completion.

  4. 4

    Step 4

    Step 4

Boil the dried fruit compote until done. I like this compote both hot and chilled.
