Fruit compote for pregnant women
Description
The recipe won't take much time. If you want to find out, the drink is ready to serve.
Instructions

Step 1

For this recipe, you can use any dried fruits. The more variety you use, the tastier and healthier your compote will be. Sort the dried fruits, rinse them thoroughly under running water, drain in a colander, and let the liquid drip off.

Step 2

Take a saucepan of appropriate size and pour the dried fruits into it. Add granulated sugar. If you prefer a sweeter drink, you can increase the amount of sugar. If you're worried about gaining extra weight, you can omit the sugar altogether, but then the compote will taste somewhat tart.

Step 3

Boil clean drinking water in a kettle and pour it over the dried fruits. Place the pot with the liquid on the stove and turn the heat to high. When the compote comes to a boil, reduce the heat to low and cook the dried fruits, covered, for twenty minutes.

Step 4

When the compote is ready, turn off the heat and let it steep for several hours, covered. Then transfer the compote to a glass or clay container, seal it, and place it in the refrigerator. It is best to drink the compote chilled.
