Apricot and prune compote
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Prunes are very beneficial for gastrointestinal issues, and dried apricots are good for the cardiovascular system. Therefore, a compote made from these dried fruits is an excellent source of vitamins and other beneficial nutrients. Plus, it tastes great! I add a bit of raisins when preparing compote from apricots and prunes to make it a little sweeter.
Instructions

Step 1
Prepare the ingredients and thoroughly rinse the dried fruits.

Step 2
Place the prunes in a small saucepan, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Then let cool, leaving the lid on so they cool down slowly.

Pour hot water over the dried apricots and simmer for about 20 minutes.
- 4
Step 4
Boil the raisins for about 5 minutes (also pour over with hot water).
- 5

Mix all the fruits together in a saucepan, add sugar and citric acid.
