
Apricot compote for infants
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Introduce apricot compote into your baby's diet after 8 months, once you've started feeding your child fruits. The compote is very nutritious, aromatic, and delicious. It's easy and quick to prepare and can be stored in the refrigerator for a couple of days. The drink is ready to serve.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Rinse the apricots and cover with slightly warm water. Soak for 25 minutes. The apricots will swell and become soft. With natural apricots, the water will not become colored.

Then drain the water from the apricots. Place the dried fruit in a saucepan, pour in water, and put on the stove to boil.

Boil the compote over low heat for 15 minutes. Then let the drink steep, covered, for 20–25 minutes. The compote will turn a beautiful light yellow color.

Pour the prepared compote into a suitable container or bottle to feed the child. Serve the compote warm or at room temperature.
