Cranberry compote with lemon for winter

Description

The recipe won't take much time. We'll prepare the compote with added lemon. Since currants are also slightly tart, the compote will have a pleasant tanginess and be moderately sweet. Serve this winter compote with any homemade pastries, desserts, etc. Keep this recipe handy and enjoy making it. Serve chilled.

    Transfer the gooseberries to a bowl, cover with water, and wash them thoroughly. Check to make sure there are no spoiled berries.

    Wash and sterilize a jar suitable for compote using your preferred method (700 ml). Place the currants into the jar and add lemon slices.
