Description

Lingonberry compote can be prepared using fresh, frozen, or dried berries. Lingonberries are extremely rich in various beneficial substances, including: vitamins (A, C, B group, and others); sugars (glucose, fructose, galactose, and others); organic acids (malic, citric, oxalic, and others); minerals (potassium, sodium, magnesium, calcium, phosphorus, iodine, and others); pectin, tannins, and some other compounds. The decoction made from these wonderful berries is consumed to stimulate appetite, strengthen the body and blood vessels, and to treat gastrointestinal disorders, cardiovascular diseases, high blood pressure, and certain other health issues. Lingonberry compote is also beneficial simply as an additional source of vitamins and minerals during winter and spring, or in cases of vitamin deficiency. The drink is ready to serve.
