White apple compote for winter

20 min4 serv.20 февр. 2026 г.

Description

The recipe won't take much time. Ingredient amounts are calculated for a 1-liter container. The drink turns out light and very fragrant. The key is to immediately pour boiling water over the sliced apples and add lemon juice to prevent them from darkening. Since the fruits are very delicate with thin skin, their flesh darkens quickly. It's best to preserve sliced apples, as preserves containing seeds can be stored for no more than a year, while those without seeds can last up to 2 years. The drink is ready to serve.
