Apricot compote in a multicooker for winter

Description

The drink is quick and easy to prepare. Choose fragrant and tasty apricots. Cook the compote in a multicooker for 20 minutes, then serve it immediately or preserve it in jars. In winter, apricot compote can be served with baked goods at festive tables. Admit it, homemade compotes can never be compared to store-bought drinks. Serve chilled.

    Prepare the apricots.

    Be sure to wash the apricots and check that there are no spoiled ones.

    In a multicooker, bring water to a boil, add apricots and cook for 15 minutes on the "Cooking" setting. Then add sugar and citric acid, and cook for another 3 minutes.

    Jars (0.7 liters and 0.5 liters) for preserving should be thoroughly washed with baking soda, then rinsed well under warm running water. Sterilize the jars and lids using your preferred method—over steam, in the oven, or in the microwave. Pour the apricot compote into the jars.

    Seal the jars of compote tightly with sterile lids and place them upside down. Cover the preserves with a warm blanket or cloth and leave undisturbed for 24 hours. After this time, transfer the preserves to a dark, cool place.
