
Apricot, plum, and apple compote for winter storage
Description
The recipe won't take much time. Choose tasty, firm, ripe plums. The same goes for apricots—preferably aromatic varieties. Select seasonal, homemade, flavorful apples. Our compote is mixed, which makes it even more delicious. Be sure to try making this drink; in winter it will surely delight you with its taste and appearance, and the fruits can be served as a dessert.

Prepare the ingredients.

Wash the apricots and plums, then dry them.

Slice the lemon into wedges, 1-2 will be enough. Remove the core from the apples and slice the apples into wedges.

Wash the preserving jar (1-liter capacity) thoroughly with baking soda, then rinse well under warm running water. Sterilize the jar and lid using your preferred method—over steam, in the oven, or in the microwave. Place plums, apricots, apples, and lemon slices into the jar.

Add granulated sugar directly into the jar.

Seal the jar tightly with a sterile lid, then roll it to dissolve the sugar. After that, place the jar upside down. Cover the preserve with a warm blanket or cloth and leave undisturbed for 24 hours. After the specified time, transfer the preserve to the pantry.
