Description
I used ready-made minced meat — a mix of beef and pork — but you can mince the meat yourself using a meat grinder. You can also add your favorite spices to the minced meat, which will make the flavor of the finished dish even more vivid
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Lay out all the ingredients on the table according to the list. Peel and wash the potatoes.
- 2
Step 2

Place the minced meat in a bowl, add salt, and ground black pepper.
- 3
Step 3

Grate the onion on a fine grater directly into the bowl with the minced meat.
- 4
Step 4

Mix everything with a spoon.
- 5
Step 5

In a separate bowl, grate the potato on a fine grater and add salt to it.
- 6
Step 6

Place the potato mass onto a double-layered cheesecloth, lift the edges of the cloth, and squeeze the potato mass firmly by hand. Let the extracted potato liquid sit in a bowl for 5 minutes, allowing the potato starch to settle at the bottom. Then pour off the liquid, leaving the starch behind in the bowl.
- 7
Step 7

Add starch to the bowl with the squeezed potato mass and mix everything.
- 8
Step 8

Separate a small portion from this mixture, flatten it with your hands into a patty, and place 1 tablespoon of filling in the center.
- 9
Step 9

Raise the edges of the flatbread, shaping the dumpling so that the meat filling is securely hidden inside the potato shell.
- 10
Step 10

Prepare dumpling shapes from all the potato mixture and filling.
- 11
Step 11

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and add all the dumplings. Fry over high heat on both sides until a golden crust forms.
- 12
Step 12

Then grease a baking dish with a thin layer of vegetable oil, place all the dumplings in it, cover the dish with foil, put it in a preheated oven at 180 degrees and bake for 30 minutes.
- 13
Step 13

Serve the ready dumplings hot.
- 14
Step 14

Done.
