
Potato and meat dumplings
Description
The recipe won't take much time. It's better to use homemade minced meat for kolduny; you can take pork neck to make them juicy. We'll cook kolduny in a frying pan, but if desired, they can also be baked in the oven. Kolduny can be served as a main dish—delicious and satisfying when paired with vegetables or pickles. Serve hot.

Prepare all the ingredients.

Peel the potatoes, grate them on a fine grater, and squeeze out a little of the liquid. Add one large chicken egg to the potatoes.

Add wheat flour, salt, and pepper to taste into a container.

Peel the onion and chop it into small cubes. Add the onion to the minced meat, mix, and season with salt and pepper to taste.

Now shape the dumplings, covering part of the potato with the filling.

Add more potatoes on top of the minced meat. Shape the preparation so that the minced meat is inside and the potatoes completely cover it.

Fry the kolduny in vegetable oil, covered, for 8-10 minutes on each side, over the lowest heat.
