
Sausage casserole with tomatoes and beans
Description
Homemade baked goods for tea. A warming family dish that will feed at least four, if not five members of your family. This dish is not only inexpensive to prepare, but also very tasty and visually appealing. Moreover, it's very easy to make and suitable both for festive occasions and for an everyday meal.

1. Finely chop the onion and garlic. Cut the pork sausages into 4 cm slices. Slice the potatoes into rounds. Drain the canned beans.

2. Add 3 tbsp of oil to a frying pan. Heat over medium heat. Add the onion and cook until golden, stirring frequently. This will take about 15 minutes. Remove the onion, add 2 tbsp of oil, add the sliced sausages and cook for approximately 8 minutes, stirring frequently, until nicely browned.

3. Preheat the oven to 190 degrees. Place sausages, fried onions, beans, canned tomatoes, herbs, salt, and pepper into an ovenproof dish and mix with a fork. Top with sliced potatoes, arranging them to cover the mixture. Bake in the preheated oven for 55 minutes.

4. When the dish is ready, remove from the oven, grate the cheese and place under the grill until the cheese is browned, approximately 4 minutes.
