Sausage Platter "Doggy"
Description
Perfect for the table and with drinks. This funny and cheerful sausage platter will delight all your guests! It's a great way to dress up a holiday table without expensive ingredients. Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Instead of boiled sausage, you can use ham or boiled-smoked brisket.
- 2
Step 2

Cut the wide cooked sausage round in half and place it on a plate. On either side of it, arrange slices of smoked sausage — this is the head and ears.
- 3
Step 3

Cut the hard cheese into a large slice and cut a round face out of it. Place on a plate.
- 4
Step 4

Place small dollops of mayonnaise of any fat content on slices of boiled sausage — these will be the whites of the eyes. Cut a pitted olive vertically in half and place it on the mayonnaise — the eyes are ready! Place another olive half on the cheese, but horizontally — and there’s the little nose!
- 5
Step 5

Cut a mouth from the salami and place it at the very bottom on the cheese. From curly parsley, make the dog's bangs.
- 6
Step 6

Place slices of smoked and boiled sausage and cheese on a plate and garnish with fresh herbs. Serve immediately after cooking.
