Curd Cheese Sausages
Description
Delicious baked goods for the whole family. Golden cottage cheese sticks are handy for school, work, or a picnic. After frying, you can freeze them and store them in the freezer as semi-finished products, then reheat them in the morning in the microwave or on the stove. Serve cooled or slightly warm.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the ingredients listed. Choose cottage cheese that is not too moist so the dough holds its shape well.
- 2
Step 2

In a deep bowl, place cottage cheese of any fat content and crack a chicken egg into it. Add salt, vanilla sugar, and regular granulated sugar. Mash everything thoroughly with a fork.
- 3
Step 3

Add 3 tbsp of premium wheat flour and mix. Set aside 1 tbsp of flour for breading.
- 4
Step 4

Pour the remaining flour onto a plate. Shape the cottage cheese dough into small rolls in your hands, moistening your hands with water as you work. Coat each roll in flour on all sides.
- 5
Step 5

Heat vegetable oil in a frying pan and place the patties/shapes into it. Fry on one side over medium heat for about 2 minutes.
- 6
Step 6

Flip to the other side and fry for another 2–3 minutes.
- 7
Step 7

Arrange the cottage cheese rolls on a plate and serve at the table with sour cream or a sweet sauce.
