Description
This alcoholic shot goes down very easily, as the rum hits first, creating a burning sensation. The quail egg yolk coats the palate, and the cherry liqueur completes the experience. The rum and liqueur have different densities, so the cocktail forms distinct layers, with a bright yellow "sun" of yolk in the center. However, you need to pour very carefully to keep the layers separate, although mixing them won't greatly affect the taste. Prepare all the necessary ingredients for making the "Sun" cocktail.

Carefully pour the cherry liqueur into a narrow shot glass using a funnel. It should not touch the sides.

Break the quail egg into a bowl and carefully separate the yolk. Without damaging it, transfer the yolk to a shot glass.

Now place a tablespoon with a wide handle into the glass, stopping just short of the liqueur layer. Slowly pour in the light rum, making sure the layers do not mix. You should end up with three distinct layers. Serve the finished "Sun" cocktail immediately.
