Cocktail
Description
The cocktail "Sidecar" presented here is considered a classic men's drink. Its origins are shrouded in mystery and legend. The name, which translates as a motorcycle with a sidecar, is attributed to a Parisian bartender who called the drink that way because it was favored by a guest who arrived daily on a vehicle with a sidecar. The cognac used here follows the English tradition, where this spirit remains the main and most valued ingredient. The other components are used in smaller quantities and serve merely as sweeteners. The drink is ready to serve.

3. Shake the shaker well several times. Pour the resulting cocktail through the strainer's openings. The "Sidecar" cocktail is served in martini glasses. It's impossible to fully understand all the nuances of how to prepare a "Sidecar" cocktail without knowing its proper presentation. The classically prepared cocktail glass is decorated with sugar crumbs. To do this, dip the rim of the glass into lemon juice (or run a cut lemon wedge around it) and then dip it into sugar. You can also garnish with a twist of lemon or orange peel.
