Cocktail
Description
The recipe has an author—it was invented in 1944 by Victor J. Bergeron, owner of the famous "Trader Vic's" restaurant. Some cocktail ingredients may be hard to find, but you should definitely try this classic. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Immediately before preparing the cocktail, squeeze the lime juice—this is the guarantee of the cocktail's proper flavor.
- 2
Step 2

The most difficult part is obtaining the "Orgit" almond syrup, yet it is precisely this ingredient that gives the cocktail its special charm. Regular sugar syrup cannot be a substitute.
- 3
Step 3

However, you can try replacing the "triple sec" liqueur with a citrus concentrate or any citrus syrup, as long as this substitution doesn't alter the cocktail's color.

Step 4

Take a classic wide glass with a thick bottom. Pour all the cocktail ingredients into it, fill to the top with crushed ice, garnish with a straw, a cherry, a mint leaf, and serve to your amazed guests.
