Cocktail
Description
The drink is quick and easy to prepare. It originated as the "Black Russian" cocktail made with coffee liqueur and vodka. Cream was later added to this mix, making the drink more appealing to women. Thanks to the cream, the cocktail's strength is reduced and a delicate creamy note appears in the aftertaste. Try it—you and your guests will surely enjoy it, especially since this drink is so easy to mix at home! Ingredients are calculated for 2 servings. Serve chilled.
Instructions
- 1
Step 1

Prepare the listed ingredients. Use low glasses with a wide, heavy bottom, with a capacity of at least 200 ml. Chill the cream and vodka in advance.
- 2
Step 2

Place ice in glasses: 5-6 cubes per glass, depending on the size of the ice.
- 3
Step 3

Pour 50 ml of coffee liqueur into each container; it will be the last one in the tasting and will replace the strength of vodka.
- 4
Step 4

Add the chilled cream. It's best to use cream with 20% fat content, as it is not as thin as 10% cream, nor as thick as cream with more than 33% fat.
- 5
Step 5

Finally, pour in high-quality vodka. In principle, you can swap the second and third layers, pouring vodka over the liqueur first and only then adding the cream. Both the first and second methods are considered correct. The main thing is your taste!
- 6
Step 6

The "White Russian" cocktail is ready to be served. Keep in mind that the ice will melt, reducing the drink's strength.
- 7
Step 7

Stir the prepared drink and enjoy its delicate flavor.
